Morning I wanted to put together a post on ways that you can use Old Vintage Postcards for DIY Craft Projects. So I have compiled a short list with Links so that you can view the suggestions.
Old Postcards can be used in many creative projects to display their uniqueness. Below is an Unique Suggestion list for you to explore. Pictures, Links, and Instruction Videos are included..Enjoy
We have done this with several Items. We have taken pictures, old postcards. We trim them up to the size we want. We then take aerosol, spray adhesive and spray the back of the image. We then fasten it to a piece of Styro Foam 3/4 – 2″ Thick. We do not spray adhesive on styro foam – it will dissolve it.
Once it dries. we take Long Blade razor Knife to make all sides straight. We have taken these at Church and put them on bulletin boards. It Makes amazing 3 – D effect on Bulletin Boards – Very Compelling.
These are Impressive in Schools and Business – Especially if they Represent a Time line
We have placed Postcards on Bulletin Boards – we like to use a Dark Background, Black or Dark Blue – Felt is very attractive.

There is a Pizza Parlor on Laurelville, Ohio. They have framed enlarged postcards and have placed them on all the walls of their dining room. You are automatically pulled to gaze how Laureville looked 100 years ago. The Old Mill before electricity….The great Flood that submerged a lot of the Village..The old post office…Just a peek back into the past from this small farming community.
